Physical Footprint
The physical footprint of the entire robot- It is a self-contained unit including all the safety guarding which allows for minimal floor space. The guarding also has an access door on the rear and a cut out for a conveyor. The rear door also had a locking safety switch so the door can not be opened while the robot is running
Euro Map Adaptability
The robot uses euro map 67 and is adaptable to euro map 73 for the machine guarding. The robot will come with an adapter cable for Euro map 12,16 and SPI depending on what the IMM requires. Also with Euro map 67 there is the ability to use intermediate mold open and early entry for high speed applications.
Digital Vacuum Circuit
The robot comes with a digital vacuum circuit which allows the user to control the settings from the pendant and it is also an eco-vacuum system that turns on the solenoid only when it is required to create vacuum and is also operator settable. The robot comes with two gripper circuits and there is also an accumulator on the air circuit for less energy consumption.
Balance Cylinder
The "Y" axis (vertical axis) has a balance cylinder to relive any excess wear on the motor and drive.
Helical Rack & Pinion
The gearing is helical rack and pinion which reduces and prevents wear and vibration also make the robot virtually silent. This makes for very smooth and consistent processes.
The Wizard – Controller Setup
EVO CONTROL It is light and ergonomic, with wide range 7” TFT 800x480 touch screen and membrane keyboard. It allows the programming and managing of all the robot functions in a simple and intuitive way. A three position switch for operator presence and an emergency button guarantee that the use of the robot is extremely safe, within the current relevant legislation. The control has 8 function keys programmable to quickly run specific orders dedicated to the process. The control is provided with USB port to be used for the programs backup and for the upload of Campetella software upgrade. Through a simple wizard, the new EVO software swiftly leads the user for the realization of IMM unloading cycles with palletizing functions. In order to realize elaborate working cycles, a powerful editor is used, able to access all the offered functions. Together with the robot, it is possible to program an integrated PLC able to realize automatisms and to manage external peripherals. In order to maximize the robot cycle, it is possible to modify the axes position dimensions in real-time during the molding cycle, without needing to stop and restart the robot for each variation. The effect of the variation will be effective from the following cycle. In order to allow an aware use of the robot, it is possible to set up the access for specific features freely identifying only some users and their access rights, through password. EVO software is also available in offline edition, easy to install on a PC, both for offline programming and for robot remote control. The robot is also fully supported with Ethernet capability for direct factory communications.
Technical Manuals
Technical manuals are user friendly with I/O reference and wire designations. All the air lines are color coded for easy recognition. This will allow for easy troubleshooting. The manuals are extremely user friendly and detailed which explains programing, palletizing and all functions of the robot.
Linear Bearings
There is minimal maintenance due to linear bearings and guides. Wire ways are sealed to help prevent excess air born particles from building up in the wire ways.
Quick and Easy Tool Changes
Because of the way the robot is constructed there is access to the wrist for quick and easy end of arm tool changes. This is achieved thru the access door on the guarding and there is a solid platform that the operator stand on.
Versatility and Stability
The side entry robot is constructed as one very stable unit with adjustable feet and can be easily moved from machine to machine in case there is a problem with the IMM it is running on and is down for a while.
IML Potential
The SM model can be used as a standard side entry take out robot or add a IML magazine and change the EOAT and now you are running an IML project on the same machine.
Less Moving Parts
Our robot uses less “hand off” robots and less moving parts than our competitors and this means faster speeds as well as less moving parts to replace as well as less electricity usage. Most of our competitors use "the erector set" 80/20 style framing and are much larger footprint, less stable and not so nice looking.
