The ISGS Series hydraulic machines have been specifically designed for the molding of medium to large sized parts, multi-cavity tooling and various types of resins. The use of high rigidity platens and a center ram help reduce deflection allowing superior molding of tight tolerance product. The unique clamping unit and the twin cylinder design of the injection unit reduces the overall footprint and uses less energy than previous models.

The ISGT clamp combines Shibaura Machine's unique tie bar locking system with a direct pressure type mold clamping cylinder, making it 30% shorter than conventional models. Its main ram contains less than 10% of the oil used by conventional hydraulic clamps, decreasing fluid use by as much as 50%. Less time is required for pressure build up, reducing cycle times.
